Humility is the opposite of pride. When you’re humble, it shows that you able understand that it’s something bigger than ourselves that we’re living for. With humbleness, comes respect. With respect, comes value. With value, comes worth. When someone is humbled they can admit when they’re wrong and apologize. Humbled people don’t always have to prove their point or be right. Sometimes they just let people have it even when the other person may be incorrect. Jesus was humbled enough to wash his disciples feet. The man whose name was greater than all other names. The one who had all power and authority in his hands. The one who was in direct connection with God was able to get down in a low position, humble himself, and wash the feet of others. Imagine how dirty their feet were from walking all day? Imagine how nasty their feet were back then. Jesus himself washed their feet with no complaint or delay. He was the epitome of humility. Hopefully we can learn to be just like Him. Remain Humble.
