Ever felt super stressed out? Like your energy was low? So low, that if one more person said or did something to you, you'd might just explode!?… Sounds like you need to protect your energy more! Once you begin to recognize what depletes your energy, whether it's a thought, person, job, etc., then you'll be able to take steps that will help you to focus on recharging.


Here's how you can start to protect your energy today:

Recognize the warning signs.
  • Long-lasting sadness or irritability

  • Extremely high and low moods

  • Excessive fear, worry, or anxiety

  • Social withdrawal

  • Dramatic changes in eating or sleeping habits

Practice stress management & self-care
  • Eat healthy​

  • Exercise regularly

  • Take time for yourself

  • Sleep at least 8 hours a night

  • Practice deep breathing

  • Learn to do something new and fun

Know yourself
  • Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings

  • Keep a journal to identify patterns.

  • Recognize when “this just doesn’t seem like how I usually think or act.”

Set Healthy Boundaries
  • Say "no"

  • Communicate discomfort

  • Make time for quiet
